
Drivers are being urged to avoid the A283 between Steyning and Shoreham after a collision this afternoon (Monday 29).
Police were called to reports of a four-vehicle collision on the A283 in Steyning, between the junction of Dacre Gardens and the roundabout to the A2037, shortly before 4pm.
Firefighters from Shoreham were reportedly attending the incident alongside SECAmb and Sussex Police.
Four people were reported to be receiving medical treatment. Sussex Police said none of the injuries were thought to be life-changing or life-threatening.
The road remained blocked at 5.30pm while emergency services arranged recovery of the vehicles involved.
