Following a two-year hiatus, the Eastbourne Airshow is back in full force, from Thursday, August 18th until Sunday 21st.

From midday until around 5pm on all four days, residents and visitors to Eastbourne will be treated to a full-on "airshow extravaganza" when its beloved airshow returns to the town.

Organisers have promised more than 50 impressive displays, including the Typhoon, Chinook, Puma, The Blades, Wingwalkers, The Tigers, MiG-15, Strikemaster, P-47D Thunderbolt, Fury, Mustang, Spitfire, Let Pitts and Firefly.

The show will also host a "rarely seen" duo display from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Spitfire, alongside the RAF Typhoon on Friday and Saturday.

The Red Arrows will perform on all four days.

Other events happening around the airshow include an Abba tribute act playing at the Winter Garden on Saturday (tickets still available); "Air Bears" Ace and Aimee posing for photographs with kids; stalls; a flight simulator and bungee trampolines and giant inflatables for children.
