Police are appealing for witnesses and footage following two reports of attempted GBH between a cyclist and vehicle in Crawley on Sunday, March 26.
Just before 4pm police received a report of a man in Horsham Road, who was in possession of a bladed article, threatening the occupants of a black Honda Accord before making off by bike.
Following this altercation the Honda is seen to mount the pavement at speed and collides with the bike.
It is not known if the level of injuries sustained by the man on the bike, but he is seen to pick the bladed article off the floor and run off.
A 32-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted GBH, dangerous driving, driving without insurance and failing to stop at the scene of a collision and released on police bail until June 26.
