A man aged 20 has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery at a shop in Goring.
According to Sussex Police, staff at the store in Goring Way were threatened at knifepoint and cash was demanded from the till at about 7.50am on Saturday (21 October).
The unwanted visitor made off with £150. Officers said no-one was harmed.
A local man was arrested on suspicion of committing robbery at the Tesco Express and a further two robberies which were reported on Sunday morning (22 October) at the Co-op store and Salvington Food Centre in Salvington Road, Worthing.
The suspect remained in custody on Sunday afternoon.
As an investigation continued, officers were continuing to appeal for witnesses to the incidents.
