Brighton's excellent form continued last night on a bad evening for the capital.
The Seagulls' 3-1 win at the Emirates Stadium ensured that no London clubs have made the last 16 of the competition.
Eddie Nketiah put Arsenal ahead after 20 minutes, before Albion hit back through a Danny Welbeck penalty, followed by second-half goals from Kaoru Mitoma and Tariq Lamptey to put the tie beyond doubt.
It's just the second time in 20 seasons Arsenal have failed to progress beyond the third round of this competition, while for Brighton it marks the first time since 2011 that they had beaten a top-flight side in it.

Brighton boss Roberto De Zerbi told Sky Sports:
"We can play better.
"I'm happy because we have many young players who were playing for me for the first time, and it's difficult when you're not playing so much.
"For me it's very important to have a cup run and for this win against Arsenal.
"It's an honour to win in this stadium but we have to think about the next game from tomorrow, and prepare the best we can. We want to win and to play better."
Brighton next host Aston Villa in a 2pm kick-off on Sunday — the club's final game before the World Cup break.

The Japanese winger has slotted into Brighton's side seamlessly this season and looks every inch another top quality piece of recruitment.
