Police are investigating an attempted ram-raid on a Co-op in Partridge Green in the early hours of this morning (Tuesday, 21). Officers said an unsuccessful attempt, involving a Ford Transit pick-up truck, was made to break into the Co-op post office stores in the High Street at around 1.50am. The truck tried to batter down a security shutter protecting the main door, but failed following several attempts. Police said at that point, raiders abandoned the truck and drove off in a second vehicle, a white box van. Anyone with information is asked to contact 101.
