Bexhill family pay tribute to 'much-loved son and brother' who died following motorcycle crash

The family of a pillion passenger who died following a motorcycle crash in Bexhill have payed tribute to a 'much-loved son and brother'. Joel Vinten, 27, of Sackville Road, in the town, was seriously injured after the motorcycle he was on crashed into a lamp post on the A269 Ninfield Road on Thursday, March 12. Police said he was taken to Kings College Hospital in South London where he died on March 16. Speaking on behalf of his family, Joel's mother Donna said: "Joel was a much-loved son and brother. "We are all deeply distressed by this terrible news, as are his many friends, and we are extremely grateful for all the support we have received." The motorcycle rider, a 26-year-old man also in the town, remains in a serious condition in hospital, according to police.
