Bexhill Man Charged After Eastbourne Double Stabbing

A Bexhill man has been charged after a double stabbing in Eastbourne on August 18.

Police said two men were taken to hospital following the incident in Cambridge Road, just before 9.30pm.

Ethan Russell, 21, of Cranfield Road, Bexhill was arrested at the scene and is charged with causing grievous bodily harm, possession of a knife in public, and possession with intent to supply cannabis.

He was remanded in custody and is due before Lewes Crown Court on September 18.

According to officers, a 37-year-old local man remains in hospital in a stable condition, and a 33-year-old local man was discharged.
