Blaze In Beckley Prompts Cross County Fire Fighter Response

Teams from East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service are currently battling a blaze in Beckley this afternoon (Thursday).

The service says that crews from Rye, The Ridge, Battle, and Burwash are in attendance at the fire, which is in a residential building on Main Street.

Firefighters were called at 11.01 am, and residents in the vicinity are advised to close doors and windows.
