Body found in search for missing Brighton man in Australia

Police searching for a Brighton man, missing in Australia, have found a body in a creek near where he was last seen. Formal identification is yet to take place, but officers believe it is 25-year-old Aslan King, who went missing on Saturday. Aslan had fled a campsite after suffering a head injury. The discovery was made in the Princetown area of Victoria. Senior Constable Alistair Parsons said: "Police have located the body of a man following the search for missing tourist Aslan King in the Princetown area. "Officers are yet to formally identify the body; however, it is believed to be Aslan King who was last seen at a camping ground on Old Coach Road about 2am on 23 November. "The body was located about 10.15am this morning in a creek just over a kilometre from the camping ground where Aslan was last seen. "Investigators will prepare a report for the coroner. "Police would like to thank the public and media for their assistance during the search."   More Radio is continuously dedicated to providing a quality news service on-air and online, reporting local stories that matter across Sussex. If you enjoyed reading this story, then check out our home page at moreradio.online where you can find the latest from the county, along with features and competitions from our presenters, as well as listening to the station live.
