A woman who collapsed on a Bognor street found her bank card and phone had been stolen from her as she lay unconscious.
The 48-year-old had had a medical incident as she walked alone along London Road around 8.50pm on December 21st.
She hit her head on the pavement when she collapsed and was helped by a number of people, including a couple who drove her home.
It was at this point she discovered her mobile phone and bank card were missing.
She later discovered that her card had been used in nearby shops soon after the incident, for a number of low-value transactions.
Police are urging anyone who saw what happened to come forward. Officers are particularly keen to hear from a man riding a bicycle who also stopped to assist, as he may hold vital information to assist in our investigation.
