Boy, 12, Knocked Unconscious By Teens In Littlehampton

A 12-year-old boy has been assaulted by a group of teenagers in Littlehampton.

Police say two 12-year-old boys were walking through the old Waitrose car park in Duke Street, at around 10.30am on Monday (March 8), when they were approached by three boys who asked them for money.

According to officers, one of the 12-year-olds was punched in the face and knocked unconscious.

He attended hospital after sustaining facial injuries, before later being discharged. The victim was left with bruising and swelling.

The three suspects reportedly ran away from the scene.

Officers conducted an area search but they weren't located.

They were described as approximately 12-14 years, and one was wearing a blue top, one was in green and the third was wearing a black top.
