Brighton failed to score for the sixth time in seven Premier League matches and Neal Maupay missed a penalty as they drew 0-0 with Norwich.
Graham Potter's team registered 31 shots on goal but only tested opposing custodian Tim Krul four times.
That number equals the most shots on goal a team has had in one Premier League game this season, matching Manchester City's tally when they beat Leeds 7-0.
Both Brighton and Norwich had lost their last six league games and this was just the third ever Premier League meeting between two sides on six-or-more-game losing streaks.
Dean Smith's side dug in for a point that still leaves them in huge relegation trouble.
They remain seven points from safety having played three more games than fourth-bottom Everton.
Brighton's best opportunity fell to Maupay in the first half after Sam Byram had handled in the area, but the Seagulls striker ballooned the penalty over the crossbar.
Despite his goal being peppered, Krul wasn't overly busy but did make a sensational second half save from Joel Veltman, who somehow failed to score from six yards out.

The Argentinian creator pulled the strings for Albion in the middle of the park, only for the stuttering strikers to misfire.
