Brighton man revealed as new winter Love Island contestant

A coffee bean salesman from Sussex has been confirmed as a contestant in the new winter Love Island series. The first of two series in 2020 kicks off this Sunday (January, 12) in a brand new location, and luxury villa, in Cape Town, South Africa. Laura Whitmore is presenting the main show, which will see seven women and five men couple up and break up, in an attempt to find love and win a share of the £50,000 prize money. Among the contestants is Connor Durman, 25, from Brighton, who has been living it up in the land down under for the last four years. During his time in Australia he said he's done a lot of growing up, had a few relationships and is now ready to find that significant other. Despite once working as a naked waiter, Connor said his hands were his best feature. When asked to reveal his worst habit, he dutifully revealed it as his hummus addiction, getting through a pot (with crackers) daily. He described his perfect woman: "Outgoing, a big personality, loving and I don't want her to be embarrassed to show it in front of people. "Family orientated and she’s got to fit in with my mates. "Just be easy going." Potential suitors include Rochelle Humes' sister Sophie Piper, and Lewis Capaldi's ex-girlfriend Paige Turley.
