Brighton ready to welcome Father Christmas!

A 30-foot Norway Spruce Christmas tree will be lit up in Brighton later (29 November). Members of Brunswick Town in Bloom are inviting us to join them for the official lighting of the tree, which starts at 4pm, when Brunswick Primary School Choir will sing Christmas carols at St John the Baptist Church in Palmeira Square. Then, Father Christmas will throw the switch at the Floral Clock in Palmeira Square at 4.45pm, which will be adorned with twinkling lights, with members of the Rotary Club Choir singing carols. The tree has been installed by Brighton and Hove City Council’s Cityparks team.
