A fire in the Kelly Road area of Brighton has prompted an appeal from East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service to avoid the area.
Six fire engines are in attendance at the fire, which started shortly before 11.45am today (Monday). East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service has said it started in the roof of a home.
Local residents have been asked to close windows and doors to prevent smoke inhalation.
Nobody is believed to be injured.

Fire crews remain on scene to cut away badly damaged parts of the property and ensure the fire is completely out.
Crews have been using breathing apparatus and water jets to tackle the fire.
