Brighton Vs Norwich City Preview: Seagulls Aim To Prey On Canaries

Brighton and Hove Albion will look to arrest a six-match losing run on Saturday when they take on Premier League basement club Norwich City on Saturday.

Albion welcomed the international break following back-to-back 2-0 home losses against Liverpool and Spurs.

The Canaries go into the game on the back of their own seven-match losing streak.

Injury time heartbreak in their previous outing against Leeds United looks to have doomed the league's bottom side, who have just 17 points from 29 matches.

Brighton have won a woeful three of 15 home games in the league, scoring just ten goals in the process.

With Norwich winning just two of 14 on the road, something surely has to give.

Form Guide

Twelve matches, zero points, zero wins.

These are the two most out of form sides in the entire division! If Brighton are ever going to get back to winning ways surely this is the time.

For the time being, it all makes difficult reading for fans:

The teams have met 91 times in the past, with Brighton securing 32 wins, Norwich 34, and 25 encounters ending all square.

Injury news

Adam Lallana may return following a hamstring strain, while Adam Webster is also in line for possible selection.

Long-term absentee Tudor Baluta is back in training, but is unlikely to be considered for the weekend.

Andrew Omobamidele and Adam Idah have been ruled out for the visitors.

There is better news for Dean Smith regarding Sam Byram and Christoph Zimmermann, who both look set to feature at the Amex.

Possible line-ups

Brighton (4-4-1-1):

Norwich (4-3-3):

Prediction: Brighton and Hove Albion 2 - 1 Norwich City

If ever a match gave Graham Potter's troops the chance to arrest their ongoing paralysis, this is it.

Expect the likes of Maupay and Trossard to cause no end of problems for a creaking Canaries defence.
