The people behind Brighton and Hove Pride said this afternoon they are "thrilled" to be going ahead this year, with the planned dates set for 6th – 8th August 2021.
In an announcement today, they said their decision followed news of the UK Government's roadmap for the lifting of social distancing rules on June 21st.
A spokesperson said:
"Pride is a hugely important event for our City and community groups and we are regularly reviewing our planning by working with strategic partners and Brighton & Hove City Council and following government guidelines
"If you plan to attend Pride this year we advise early booking as demand is already high and we may need to limit or amend capacities."
Organisers thanked the many existing ticket-holders who'd rolled their tickets over to 2021, following the Covid-mandated postponement of the 2021 festival.
They emphasised that existing ticket holders don’t need to do anything as the tickets are already valid.
But, as of February 26th, second release tickets for "Fabuloso! Pride In The Park" were already on sale.
