Chestnut Tree House welcomes MasterChef winner Kenny Tutt as their new ambassador

Worthing's Kenny Tutt blew the MasterChef judges away in 2018. The father of two worked his way from bank manager to competition winner. Keeping his promise to stay true to his roots he opened his first restaurant, Pitch, in his hometown earlier this year. Now, Kenny has become an ambassador for local children's hospice, Chestnut Tree House. Before MasterChef, Kenny visited and volunteered at the hospice a number of times, which he continued to do after appearing in the television programme. "The house itself is fantastic, but what really inspires me is the people. "Such amazing people who care for hundreds of children and their families through some very difficult times." One way Kenny is encouraging support for the hospice is by the introduction of a new cocktail at Pitch. Everytime 'The Chestnut Alexandra', named after Princess Alexandra, who opened the hospice in 2003, a sweet bourbon cream-based drink, is sold £1 is donated to the charity.
