Here's the latest update on positive cases of Covid-19 recorded in Sussex.
Almost 23,000 new cases of coronavirus were reported in the UK in a single day.
According to Public Health England, a technical glitch meant that more than 15,000 positive test results weren't recorded properly in the seven days to Friday (2).
As of Monday (October 5), the total number of confirmed coronavirus cases by Upper Tier Local Authority is:
Brighton and Hove: 1,170 - up 103 since last Wednesday
East Sussex: 2,065 - up 105 since last Wednesday
West Sussex: 3,652 - up 178 since last Wednsday
Sussex Total: 6,887 - up 386 since last Wednesday
The number of cases in several key areas of Sussex, and any change from last Wednesday (September 30):
Eastbourne: 555 - up 22
Worthing: 560 - up 3
Brighton and Hove: 1,170 - up 103
Hastings: 228 - up 21
Lewes: 445 - up 19
Crawley: 555 - up 18
Chichester: 383 - up 26
Arun: 470 - up 37
Horsham: 667 - up 34
