Coronavirus: The Latest Developments In Sussex (Friday, 19)

Here’s all the coronavirus related news that’s gone on in Sussex over the last 24 hours.

 

As of Friday (June, 19) at 6am, the following figures are the known number of Covid-19 cases in each district:

East Sussex 767

West Sussex 1,366

Brighton and Hove 484

Sussex 2,617

The take-away only nature of cafes and restaurants might be contributing to excess litter on Hove Lawns.

More needs to be done to combat litter on the seafront as people are set to use the beach for eating and drinking this summer.

Brunswick and Adelaide councillors Phélim Mac Afferty and Hannah Clare, whose ward covers Hove Lawns, are to raise the issue at the city council Environment, Transport and Sustainability Committee on Tuesday 23 June.
