Have you recovered from Coronavirus? - Volunteer for research into a treatment
In Brighton, new research has been launched into how the human immune system responds to Covid-19 infection — and a call has gone out for volunteers who've already tested positive for the virus.
Scientists at the University of Sussex said, as COVID-19 continued to spread around the world, they want to understand more about this new virus, which currently has no proven treatments or future prevention tactics.
Research is crucial to strengthening health systems, improving treatment approaches, and ending the COVID-19 pandemic.
Churches in Sussex gradually reopen
Signing, seating and safety measures are major priorities for Sussex's parishes as Anglican churches begin to reopen — but there are still no public services.
According to the Diocese of Chichester yesterday (Monday), which governs all Anglican Churches in this county, much work was continuing to allow churches to reopen their doors for private prayer in the days and weeks ahead.
It's after the first widespread closure of Christian places of worship in England for 800 years, after an order from Pope Innocent III, centuries before the foundation of the Church of England itself in 1534.
Last week, the Government announced that churches could allow for private prayer from Saturday 13 June.

According to Wealden District Council, they have received fewer applications than expected.
Their deadline for applying for discretionary grants runs out this Friday (19) and it is the same for several other Sussex councils.
