As of Wednesday (April, 15) at 7am the following figures are the known number of Covid-19 cases in each district: Brighton and Hove: 218 East Sussex: 359 West Sussex: 459 Total: 1,036 Making it's mark Markings are being painted in 'prominent locations' across Sussex to remind people to keep to social distancing rules. Adur and Worthing councils said yesterday (Tuesday, 14), that residents would soon be seeing bright yellow stencils of stick people with a two metre line next to them, to remind the public to adhere to the government advice during the coronavirus lockdown.
