Here's the latest update on coronavirus figures for Sussex, including the total number of cases, hospital deaths and deaths outside hospitals recorded.

As of Thursday (December 17), the total number of confirmed coronavirus cases by Upper Tier Local Authority is:

Brighton and Hove: 4,649 - up 198 since last Thursday
East Sussex: 7,841 - up 922 since last Thursday
West Sussex: 10,950 - up 595 since last Thursday 

Sussex Total:  23,440 - up 1,715

Eastbourne: 1,474 - up 95
Hastings: 1,532 - up 344
Lewes: 1,183 - up 94
Rother: 1,411 - up 205
Wealden: 2,241 - up 184
Horsham: 1,852 - up 70
Mid Sussex: 2,281 - up 150
Adur: 673 - up 34
Worthing: 1,215 - up 42
Arun: 1,723 - up 123
