Coronavirus: Two East Sussex Women Charged Over Multiple Gatherings

Two women from East Sussex are due to face charges relating to multiple breaches of coronavirus regulations in London last year (2020).

They're among five people due to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on May 20.

The suspects are charged with a number of offences in multiple locations across London, between August 29 2020 and December 31 2020.

Kay Allison Shemirani, 55, of Timberley Gardens, Uckfield is charged with either holding, or being involved in, a gathering of more than 30 people in Trafalgar Square and Whitehall on three occasions between August 29 and September 19.

She was also charged with participating in a gathering of more than six people in Trafalgar Square in September.

Louise Creffield, 34, of Reading Road, Brighton, is charged with either holding, or being involved in, a gathering of more than 30 people in Trafalgar Square and Westminster on four occasions between August 29 and November 28.

She is also charged with participating in a gathering of more than six people in Trafalgar Square and Westminster; and participating in a gathering of more than two people in Westminster in November.

Vincent Dunmall, 54, of Clarendon Green, Orpington, Kent; Fiona Hine, 35, of Arabella Drive, London, SW15; and Piers Corbyn, 73, of East Street, SE17 are also charged with similar offences.
