There's an appeal for witnesses after a group caused damage to a play centre and broke into the council building at Mill Pond Park in Collins Road on Saturday (Oct 29).
Police were called at around 6pm when the alarm was triggered, arriving at the scene to find damage to the windows and items inside, including computer equipment and appliances.
Officers say the suspects also connected a hose into the building from an exterior tap and left it running, causing further damage.
Enquiries are continuing to confirm what, if anything, was taken and officers are eager to speak with anyone who may have been in the area at the time of the incident.
