
Firefighters from West Sussex and Surrey have been tackling flames that broke out in a loft in Crawley.
Crews used jets and an aerial ladder as they fought the incident in Medway Road in the town yesterday evening (May 13).
Fire stations involved in the operation included teams from Crawley and Horsham along with their colleagues in the Surrey Fire and Rescue Service.
The operation involved use of an aerial ladder platform.
West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service reported that the fire was out by 9.30, with no reported injuries.
Damping down continued for some time afterwards.
