Crawley Robberies: Man Threatens Victims With Knife And Steals Possessions

There's a witnesses appeal after a man threatened two people with a knife in Crawley and took their phones and personal items.

It happened last Thursday night (March 31) between 10.3pm and midnight - the first in the area of Southgate Avenue, near to the junction with Hawth Avenue, and the second occurred in Hawth Avenue, near to the junction with Furnace Drive.

Officers have reassured residents that they'll be carrying out high-visibility patrols in the area as enquiries continue.

Anyone who saw what happened, witnessed any suspicious behaviour in the area around that time, or who may have captured any relevant CCTV or dash cam footage, is asked to get in touch with police online or by calling 101 quoting serial 004 of 01/04.
