A dog has been rescued by firefighters from a property fire in Selsey last night (Monday).
Three crews from Selsey, East Wittering and Chichester were mobilised to the house on East Street at around 5.30pm.
Firefighters say there were no reported injuries.
They did manage to rescue a dog from the building - which was suffering from smoke inhalation.

Our crews from @SelseyFire @EastWitt_stn40 and @ChichesterFire are currently dealing with a fire involving a house on East Street in Selsey.
Please avoid the area for the time being, and if you live nearby please keep doors and windows closed.

Fire is believed to have started accidentally, and our last appliance booked away from the scene at 7.10pm.
