The southbound A24 near Findon was closed for much of this morning (July 27) after a lorry carrying concrete overturned at the Findon Roundabout, leaving the driver injured.
Emergency services were called to the scene shortly after 8am.
Officers stated this morning that the truck driver sustained a minor injury, and that no-one had been seriously harmed.
Initial diversions began at the Washington roundabout, to divert southbound traffic east on the A283 towards Shoreham and west on the A283 towards the A29.
Shortly before 11am, Sussex police advised motorists to expect delays and to avoid the area.
Officers have thanked the public for their patience while the incident area is investigated and cleared-up, and the truck recovered.
