A Brighton photographer has captured images of a specialist team working on the cliffs between Brighton and Saltdean to prevent further rock fall.
Work on the cliffs started earlier this month following the closure of the undercliff walk in January for health and safety concerns.
Chalk from the cliff had been falling intermittently due to bad weather.
It happens when water, which lodges in cracks in the cliff when they're lashed by wind and rain, freezes and expands, eventually dislodging the rock.
