The Eastbourne Eco Action Network and Eastbourne Borough Council are working together to host a Sustainable Business and Solar Summit for Eastbourne and surrounding areas.
The event will be held on Friday October 7 at the Welcome Building and will bring together:
- local businesses
- landlords and commercial property managers,
- installers for solar PV and alternative energy systems
- energy co-ops,
- energy and sustainability experts and
- local authorities
The groups will look to share ideas and information about the latest methodologies, technologies and financing schemes.
A spokesperson for the event said:
"With energy costs soaring, this is the ideal opportunity to find out how you can make your business more sustainable, reduce your reliance on fossil fuels and reduce your energy bills.
"We want to shape this conference around your needs. Tell us what you want to know and how we can help you."
