UPDATE: Eastbourne: Watches Worth £21,000 Stolen From Man In Park - Images Released

Police have released a computer-generated image of men they would like to speak to in connection with a robbery in Eastbourne in which watches were stolen from a 67-year-old man.

Earlier that afternoon, the victim had withdrawn the 12 collectible watches from a safety deposit box.

As he walked through Gildredge Park, last Friday (Nov 12) at around 4pm, he was approached by two men who assaulted him, leaving him with injuries to his face.

The pair ran off towards the bowling green carrying the bag that the victim had dropped.

Both men are described as being white, in their 20s and around 5’8” tall. The assailant was described as having bright blonde hair.

Anybody who witnessed the assault, has any information that could help police or encounters somebody attempting to sell the watches pictured, is asked to contact police online or by calling 101, quoting serial 984 of 12/11.
