Police are investigating after an elderly man was reportedly struck by a man on horseback while walking on a bridle path in Lewes earlier this month. The 82-year-old man allegedly sustained facial injuries and had his glasses smashed during the incident. Officers said it's believed to have happened on Saturday, November 16 on the bridle path leading to the Old Lewes Racecourse off Spital road. Authorities said that no arrest or interview under caution has taken place yet. Anyone with information is asked to contact 101, quoting serial 640 of 16/11.
