Fatboy Slim Delivers New Album Across Brighton On Lockdown Eve (In Pink Panther Suit)

Fatboy Slim, otherwise known as Norman Quentin Cook, took to the streets of his home city of Brighton to delivery his new album, on the night before England's second lockdown restrictions were due to come in (Wednesday).

Some people who ordered Fatboy Slim's Back To Mine mix album early had their copies personally delivered on Wednesday (4).

The DJ said on Twitter that he wanted to personally deliver the CDs 'on the eve of lockdown 2'.

He posted a video of him driving around dressed as the pink cartoon character and knocking at people's doors, with a montage of him dancing around Fatboy Slim themed Grafitti.

He starts the video behind the wheel, saying:

"So, lockdown starts in six hours and we've got an awful lot of CDs to deliver...

"Can't trust Amazon to do the job! So, if you want a job done well, you do it yourself."

The DJ described his new release on Youtube:

"Over the years there's been so much action back at mine... Friends, lovers and lunatics would congregate after the clubs had closed to laugh, swap ideas and tunes and generally put the world to rights…

"This is a collection from the soundtrack of those sessions, including a track by Yum Yum Head Food (a previously unreleased moniker of mine) and a new collaboration with Roland Clark."
