A man has been arrested after a father was punched in the face by a cyclist in Shoreham on March 27.
Police said the victim was with his two children rollerblading when he was approached by a man on a bicycle in the High Street, close to the Ropetackle area, at around 4.30pm.
The suspect punched the man in the face and he fell to the ground.
A 19-year-old man from Lancing has been arrested on suspicion of common assault and remained in custody on Thursday (April 22) afternoon.
PC Dave Slade said:
“The assault was unprovoked and was made even worse because it happened in front of his children."
