Firefighters are currently in attendance at Lewes Castle following reports of a wall collapsing in the area. Emergency services were called to the Old Coach House area of the castle just after 12.20pm today (Monday, 11). Crews said the area affected is approximately 10m by 10m - with an estimated 600 tonnes of stonework and other materials involved. Services are currently working to check the area alongside Sussex Police to ensure that no-one needs rescuing.
