Firefighters have been tackling a blaze at a house in Southbourne overnight (Sunday).
West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said pumps from bothe West Sussex and Hampshire were used to put out the flames in Breach Avenue, at around midnight.
Crews from Worthing and Petworth used a water carrier and an aerial ladder platform.
Nearby residents were asked to keep windows and doors closed.
