Flooding has resulted in the closure of the A27 Eastbound between Ashcombe and Southerham roundabouts near Lewes this morning (Friday).
Sussex Police tweeted to say that teams are working to clear blocked drains.
It's hoped one lane of the Eastbound carriageway will be reopened shortly.

One lane of the Eastbound carriageway has now been successfully reopened, but delays are still expected according to Sussex Police.
