A man has been arrested in Eastbourne after a person was reported missing from HMP Ford earlier this month.
Police said James Hutton was wanted for absconding from prison.
The 30-year-old was reported missing from HMP Ford on July 14, where he was serving a sentence for burglary, assault on an emergency worker and dangerous driving.
He was detained in Eastbourne on Sunday (26) on suspicion of escaping from lawful custody.
According to officers, he was remanded to appear before Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Monday (27).
The case has been sent for trial at Lewes Crown Court on August 24.
