Four people have been arrested after a man was stabbed in Stone Cross yesterday afternoon (April 25).
Police were called to an address in Burdock Place shortly after 2pm to find a 56-year-old man with injuries consistent with a stabbing.
He was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Officers say they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.
They say there will be an increased police presence in the area while they carry out enquiries.
'It was an isolated incident that does not pose a threat to the wider community'.
