A four-hour live music event is to raise funds for the Covid-19 Urgent Appeal - which will benefit NHS staff, volunteers, and those who have been impacted by the pandemic.

Brighton Palace Pier has teamed up with SuperCharged to host a four hour, four-DJ live music charity fundraising event on the Pier on Thursday 11th June.

Due to social distancing and lockdown measures, the event will be held online and will be able to be watched via live stream for free.

The video stream from Brighton Palace Pier on Thursday 11th June starting at 6pm until 10pm via the Brighton Palace Pier Facebook page.

The money raised is funding grants to help NHS charities support NHS staff, volunteers, and patients in ways above and beyond what NHS funding can ordinarily provide.

An event spokesperson said:

"We are asking you to donate, if you can. Even £1 or £2 helps massively. If you can’t afford to donate you can still help and do your bit by sharing the stream or donation link on the day to help raise awareness. Every little thing really does help and matter!"
