Police have arrested four young men in connection with the sudden death of a man from Hove on Boxing Day, five days after he was assaulted in Brighton. Officers said the 34-year-old man was left with head injuries after being attacked in North Street in the early hours of Saturday, December 21. He then died at a property in Albany Villas early yesterday morning (Thursday, 26). Detectives are now seeking to determine if the assault contributed to the man's death. Three 18-year-old men and one 19-year-old man from Crawley were arrested on suspicion of committing grievous bodily harm, and have been released under investigation.
