Around £80,000 worth of cannabis plants were found by officers thanks to members of the public who reported their suspicions to police.
A warrant was executed at an address in Braybrooke Road, Hastings, on Wednesday, July 27.
Officers, including a drone unit, attended the address and seized dozens of mature cannabis plants.
The investigation was lead by Sergeant Dave Gill and the Neighbourhood Enforcement Team.
A 27-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of producing a class B drug, and on suspicion of abstracting or using electricity without authority.
He was released under investigation, while enquiries continue.
A spokesperson for Hastings Police said:
"Drug production and supply causes harm to our communities and links to wider criminal activity.
"We encourage the public to report their concerns about anti-social behaviour, drug dealing and knife crime to us via the Sussex Police website or via 101.
"In an emergency always call 999."
