A school in Hastings has announced a partial closure due to so many staff having to isolate.
In a letter to parents The St Leonards Academy has explained that they can no longer operate safely with so few teachers and support staff on site.
With the exception of children of key workers, years 7 to 10 will be off school until their re-opening on July 19th.
The school said it had 15 cases of COVID-19, as of yesterday (July 8), which has meant large numbers of students having to isolate, as well as associated teachers.
They've assured parents that they will be providing materials for home learning as well as food boxes for children who have free school meals.
