A community organisation is offering computer training to residents to help them with online services.
The Hangleton and Knoll Project will help people book doctor's appointments online as well as set up online consultations and generally help people with their IT skills.
Tenant and leaseholder reps from Brighton & Hove City Council met with the community organisation’s chief executive Jo Martindale.
She told the council’s West Area Housing Panel that they'd had a lot of feedback from residents saying doctor's phone lines were really busy.
Training sessions will be run every week at the St Richard’s Community Centre, in Egmont Road, on the Knoll Estate, in Hove for an hour.

The Hangleton and Knoll Project is also working with local surgeries and organisations, such as the Hera Arts and Health Partnership, to bring awareness to "social prescribing".
It aims to improve people's mental and physical well-being, by focusing on their emotional, social, health and practical needs in a more holistic way, rather than them taking unnecessary medication.
It often includes activities such as exercise, cookery and art.
