A woman from Hove has been charged with attempted arson with intent to endanger life, following an incident on May 11.
Police were called to Moyne Close at 6.35pm, after reports that a woman had doused some fabric in petrol and wrapped it round a brick, with the intent of setting fire to a property.
30-year-old Talisa Windsor of Amberley Drive, was unsuccessful in her attempts.
However, an altercation ensued between the suspect and a 32-year-old woman and a 38-year-old-man, whom police believe were all known to each other.
The man and woman were arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and bailed while investigations continue.
Windsor was charged with attempted arson with intent to endanger life and appeared before Brighton Magistrates' on May 13th.
She was remanded in custody and will appear at Lewes Crown Court on June 10.
