Enquiries have begun after several women reported they'd been victims of a man who police described as "displaying inappropriate behaviour, usually sexual" toward them.

Five reports about the man, described as 'young', were made from around Firle Road in Eastbourne between July 28 and August 13.

Police said the offender was white, of slim build and wearing casual clothing.

Investigating officers have made a new appeal for witnesses to contact them.

They would also like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious behaviour in the area, or who has any other information about the matter.

A particular point officers made is that they especially want to identify any other potential victims.

Police claimed they've increased patrols in the area.
