Firefighters, including a Fire Investigation Officer, remain at the scene of a major blaze at a residential block of flats in Brighton this morning (Saturday, 21). Following initial calls shortly after 8.30pm last night (Friday, 20), ten crews attended at the height of the incident in Pankhurst Avenue.

Since the incident, a go fund me page has been set up to assist affected residents, and has raised over £500 so far. A Facebook help page has also been set up. Officials said the cause of the blaze remains under investigation this morning.
