Investigations Continue After Fatal Hastings Collision - Suspects Released

Police are calling for anyone who saw a fatal collision in Hastings on Tuesday (March 9) to come forward.

It's after a 40-year-old local man was killed when a car struck him on the A259 Rye Road, at around 5,10pm.

Three men were arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

Two of the men have since been released without charge and are assisting police with their enquiries.

One man has been released under investigation.

While witnesses have already come forward, officers are still keen to hear from anyone who saw any vehicles being driven erratically along the A259 between Rye and Hastings, at around 5pm on Tuesday.

Anyone with information is urged to contact police by calling 101, quoting Operation Starboard.
